For CME providers the relevance extends beyond trainees. Accredited education collects confidence, intent, knowledge, case performance, and patient-related outcomes. If AI begins summarizing feedback or flagging patterns, teams will need rules for consent, access, retention, and appeal. Learner voice belongs upstream in design: involve target clinicians in defining what “useful feedback” means and where human review is required.
AI governance and precision assessment will not land in a vacuum. Institutional structures vary widely across service, faculty development, and scholarship functions (The PAPERs Podcast). Before building the next AI-enabled workflow, ask who at the partner institution can maintain it after the pilot ends.
